I haven't played the visual novel so my facts may be wrong... but if memory serves, in the Fate route archer sustained a near-fatal injury from saber early on, and hadn't fully recovered by the time he fought Berserker, And in addition to that, because he is a counter gaurdian and not a heroic spirit, his physical strength was reduced a bit but made up for that by reinforcing his body with his magic. And he didn't use UBW. If not for these drawbacks, he could have completely killed berserker.

Well we have to understand also that the story is not always coherent. Archer' power depends on which route you're in. In fate, he took even less lives off berserker than Shirou did on Heaven's feel with only 1 arm of Archer.Even if the example may be wrong: In the end, making a story this complicated with alternate endings makes the job of making everything coherent tough as hell so it's barely debatable. Like any real fight, anything can happen but nothing can change that archer is badass. :)

I think archer is the most powerfulest one..saber had help to kill beserker remaining lives. By himself to magus to heal him or replenish hp or enchance his mana he was able to kill beserker that many times !!!! Dam!!! He has the same swords from Gilgamesh treasures and they all are as strong as the original PLUS he uses then instead of throwin them like king Gilgamesh does. Holy shyt this guy is ultimate bad azz

Well Gilgamesh's weapons are prototypes of the original and Archers are forgeries(they are both Archer class so they counter each other).All of them have weaknesses really.Technically if you add the Fate/Zero characters you would have problems deciding.

@bluefirepwn No, replicas will be reduced one rank compared to the real one. Also, Gilly killed Berserker without any help. Saber needs help because Shirou can't supply the energy she needs and her ranks while under his control are all messed up. Under Rin, Saber becomes the strongest servant in the game. She still is in Fate route with the Avalon. No servant can damage her, not even Gilgamesh's EA, when she activates her Avalon. It's safe to save the strongest servant is Saber.

@bluefirepwn actually there isn't a "strongest servant" they each have their unique abilities which could prove more helpful in some situations and useless in others.....here's an example:beserker<gilgamesh<shi­rou<archer<beserker(see what i mean).....it depends on "who vs who"
