@05Skinny it technically is screamo, but a lot of people flip out when it's called that lol. I've never really understood why haha. They're technically a genre of metal-core, which most people just associate with bands who have breakdowns, though you don't need breakdowns to be metal-core. So if it helps lol, they're a metal band, with a few sub genres thrown in.

@05Skinny There are a lot of people, me included sometimes, who resent the term screamo as it is a term used by people who are ignorant of what this type of music is actually called. More often than not screamo is a generalised term for the following genres, Post-hardcore, Metalcore, Deathcore, Grindcore and all their spin off genres like Nintendocore and Mathcore. But as I said it is only some people so you don't need to go around researching these genres, best to avoid saying screamo though

It's obvious that this band was heavily influenced by Underoath, but I think that their music has enough passion and musicianship behind it to set them apart from most bands in today's metalcore scene. They write great music, and I'd keep an eye out for this promising young band.
