  • Reaction to misunderstanding, and a miscomprehension of oneselves' anima, Would conclude to an ignorance of ones own internal renaissance Stop Denial also forces one to block their opus of emotions to reach internal control of deity Stop Dismissal is emotional / spiritual suicide Stop

  • To fear what is not understood is not an option for the spiritual realm Stop This decision is for the ignorant, arrogant, and the spiritually pigmented Stop The insecure are also on the list of the emotionally stigmatic Stop But realizing 85% of the brain is still attatched to the physical body Is the realization that the 15% functioning, is brainwashing Stop 15% is a minor figure

  • To avoid pushing our mental thresholds, would result in mental regression Stop A mind regressing would result in discontinuing of evolving knowledge The depravation of evolving knowledge would conclude to the loss of elite divinity No divinity terminates sprirtual progression Without spiritual progression, the soul is theoretically dead Go. - Maynard James Keenan

  • Tool is the most spiritual/open minded music i have ever heard and they are one of my favorites. Also i have always known that we only use 14 percent of our brains. We are definitely brainwashed. What is the rest of it for? Why is it that all throughout ancient history people have been extremely into spirituality? Im not saying what is right or what is wrong, im just giving my own opinion... i like this video thank you for posting it.

  • I think its one's self to decide what is spiritual to him/herself. just because something is "spiritual" to someone, it doesn't mean it is "spiritual" to everyone else

  • thats the subjective reality we live in. there is no write and wrong since everyone has their own opinion of whats right and wrong.

  • WTH

  • Wow! What visuals. I really enjoyed the effect. It's truly about making THAT connection which you certainly did.

  • lovely, esquisite, engageing n music n art seem in perfect harmony :)

  • Absolutely very cool art...The artist is clearly seeing well beyond most of our realities....awsome! Erm...Not sure at all about that 'ear bleeding music' though....

  • alex grey is a very good friend and fan of tool lol just thought i'd say

  • humina humina humina that was amazing =D

  • vedty veety interesting intro!

  • Very enigmatic, Much appreciates in your perceptive expression. Namaste, Christopher

  • I like Tool...They are legends. HOWEVER, unlike Alex Grey, Tool are arrogant, self-righteous & waaaaaaaay to egotistical for their own good. They betray Grey's ideas. I know that's unpopular to say, but c'mon, guys...

  • mind explaining your opinion?

  • I agree. Tool is great, but it really cheapens the wonder and depth of an Alex Grey painting. Especially using one of their heavier songs.

I just think his paintings are much more profound if they are given some reverence.

  • The same can be said of Tool songs, though.

  • such beautiful art

  • Without spiritual progression the soul is theoretically dead. Alex Grey is a magnificent artist. A true inspiration.

  • wow! the artwork! and wow...i still love this great band!!!!!!!!!!

  • Someone please tell me what Tool song this video is to.

  • eulogy

  • No..your mom will, I hope you didn't past it. It takes about a year...

  • lol

  • Tool's music isn't psychedelic at all; it doesn't go with Alex Grey's art very well.

  • Tool is very psychedelic. ever listen to Tool on mushrooms? some of thier music concepts are on the psychedelic experience, and they even have a song called 'third eye' which has a timothy leary sample in the begining

  • It's a Bill Hicks sample not Tim Leary and I mean melodically the music isn't psychedelic. The meaning of the lyrics has nothing to do with that...and yes I've heard it on shrooms (and acid and 2c-e)

  • have you ever even listened to Ticks & Leeches? just shuttup

  • On the live version of Third Eye it begins with Timothy Leary.

  • 3rd is right, its actually Bill Hicks who was on the Third Eye song.

  • It is a Tim Leary sample in the LIVE version Bill Hicks sample is on the recorded version you got it the wrong way around bud ;P

  • You must have been with nonreceptive chakras, hence having missed how spiritual Tool's music actually is. Tool GOT ME INTO MEDITATION.

  • good for you...Tool has spiritual lyrics. However, Tool's music is metal. Metal=not spiritual. The melodies are actually kind of depressing.

  • I slightly disagree. The melody is actually, to me at least (depending on the song), uplifting and especially, energizing. The music itself has made my 'chakras' active, most of the time when listening attentively. I wouldn't use the equation - metal=nonspiritual. Tool is one of the very few bands, for me, that is highly spiritual, and at the same time with an attitude, through and through. But having my opinion takes a certain thoroughness that is not readily preferred by most anyone.

  • Spiritual is spiritual wether it's negative or positive who are YOU to decide if Tool are spiritual or not your opinion on this is very narrow

  • I am me, which is all I need =P

  • yeah that's what all the idiots say ... :P

  • noob

  • pltttttttT grow up youngun

  • Holy effin shit. That was killer.

  • i love his work. he is an amazing artist.

  • A job well done. Loves his works. Love the Band. make more.

  • "Without spiritual progression, the soul is theoretically dead"- Reminds me of Christians who say that those who don't worship Jesus are already spiritually dead. Justifying the killing of so called "spiritually dead"

If the soul exists, it would exist regardless of what we think or believe. STOP.

  • too true man too true

  • Alex has plenty to say and its all for a reason. To say"He had alot of nothing to say" would be pure ignorants.I dont think this song goes well with what Alex does or says;yet Tool is awesome...

  • Thats the beauty of humans. We all can provide something different

    JMV

  • awesome job. alex grey and tool are massive gifts to human kind.

  • true, but their are other equally great artists out there. i think a lot of people that seealex grey's work from the tool albums think he's one of a kind or something, but there's thousands of people doing art of equal integrity and meaning. there's some nice art here -

  • Very cool timing with each specific painting. Awesome!
