@1999Antonio This is Korean man. Not Japanese. But I know what you mean. Its nice to see the Asian countries designing robots that aren't armed to the bolts with weapons

More than likely what's happening is the robot does have a vision system that allows it to recognise pictures. And for each picture there is an associated action which it must perform.
An ok step forward, but not so much a step in the right direction for AI, but a great example of visual recognition software.
Maybe you could have it recognise objects and perform actions on them? Like, if it finds a bottle cap, grab it up and put it in basket for you.
Hi. Aprox by the year 2020 a laptop will reach the human brain potential for processing data which means that there is a huge market waiting for hundreds of billions dollars to be sold or invested in humanoid robots and intelligent systems. It is the beginning of the bigger industry in human history. Search on Google luisbeck007 you will find the most complete humanoid robot list in the World, good information and interesting issues.
It's being sent commands. You can see a cord comeing out of him, most definetly connected to a computer. There's no way a simple looking robot like that could do that.
have you seen the search and rescue bot? It doesn't follow commands, but a beacon signal. It's unbelievably agile and makes decisions based on mathematical calculations. I think you can type in "search and rescue robot" and see it... be warned, it's movements creep out some people.
its like a toy robot if u notice the card is thick so that mean it has a chip in side of it so the robot scans it and the chip has the information or command on it
@crosmandudelol well now this like chips in cards are to slow. Take a look at augmented reality that makes more sense and it is cheaper to accomplish.
Wow.... I'm so disappointed.

Always make robots smaller than humans, so they look like chucky and not arnold schwartzeneger, that could be so much dangerous

It seem's this robots's got the rules pictionary and charades terribly confussed...
i'm guessing those are preprogrammed responses and the robot wouldn't be able to play charades with a picture it had never seen before.
cant knock it though i've never made a functioning robot...

Does it try to wank if you show it (a picture of) a pair of knockers?
Does it freak out and run if you show it a picture of P. Hilton?
Does it go half-speed if you show it a blunt?
I'd program it that way, just to get sympathy-votes.

it seams like it is using some form of augmented reality software for recognition. all the pictures look like AR trackers.
