i never thought of deftones as the more creative band, that was more tool and NIN. deftones was just pure badass music to listen to and get your girlfriend more into rock. to me the album is still 8/10

Regardless of your opinion of the new album...you have to hand it to the Deftones for keeping their signature sound and for going strong for 20 years. They are proving to stand the test of time...

loving the whole album, especially the songs 'you've seen the butcher' and 'rocket skates'. the intro riff on 'you've seen the butcher' is just blowing me away, it's freaking amazing!!!

I haven't been as excited for a new album in at least ten years. I'm a new Deftones fan, and i'm just getting caught up with everything the band has done, but this to me is their best album to date. It has already become one of my favorite albums by ANY artist. They seem to be really entering their prime. Great job guys.
