  • Nice tutorial.. Thanks.

  • Nice verks, was a help to me

  • I fly Open Falcon, the concept is still relatively the same right?

  • Seriously, the game have no whatsoever manageable training missions,(you can't learn anything by them!) and it is incredible hard to get it going to shoot something. This is supposed to be a fun game! If you want to learn to fly a falcon, join the airforce...

  • @swecarlsson First of all Falcon 4.0 is a SIMULATOR not a game. Second its supposed to give you an idea of what its like to fly in a real war. There is a hell of a lot of planning that goes into real Airforce combat missions. Third if your looking for a shoot down everything in sight FPS with wings try Lock On Modern Air Combat.

  • @swecarlsson The whole point of Falcon is to be a challenge to you. If you don't read and understand the manual, you haven't got a hope in hell. Things like the WDP are what makes falcon so great, where else can you get a game that has gone to such lengths to make such an in depth, realistic sim? It's not just a "run and gun" game, it really is a simulator.

  • Great tutorial and the WDP works perfectly. I think it really adds to the realisim of F4AF. Thanks for the vid!

  • Uhh is it okay if someone can help? When I land the F-16, I can't seem to turn the plane while taxing. How do I activate the landing gear so that I can turn the plane while taxing after landing. Thanks. :)

  • ah you did press G to get it the gear out right? well then you should activate NWS when on the ground, NWS is Nosewheel steering, wich is activated by Shift-minus shift--, it turns it on and off. after that you stear the plane on the ground by using the rudder.

  • It's in the manual !...

  • press shift and / together to activate the nose wheel steering. It automaticly shuts off when gear is retracted after takeoff.

  • lol i just use my navs and recon the target and go in with ccip..

  • check my freewebs website /virtualaviator to learn more !

  • Test !

  • is this from a computer ??

  • No its from a book

  • people who fly planes are engineers and u have to be an engineer to be able to fly falcon 4.0 allied force

  • dude this looks hard as shit to do

  • it is

  • how do you lock on to targets?

  • I don't understand why this said to be the most accurate flight sim? Bugs:

-Impossible to recover from a flat stall (even with full power) as the plane always keeps wings level.

-After a crash landing the plane has stopped but continues to slowly spin round

  • This game has a focus on avionics. It is not impossible to recover from a deep stall. I have done it. There is a button you switch, so the FLCS doesn't try to override your input. You put the throttle back to idle and kind of rock the aircraft in the pitch axis, to try to get the nose back down. If you practice it a few times you'll get the hang of it. Also, there are patches you can download from Lead Pursuit to fix bugs

  • Thanks for the tip. You mean press a button to stop the system setting the leading edge flaps and ailerons.? I am now converted to this game. It has amazing depth and after installing HitilesAF pack the scenery is much improved.

Steep learning curve but best flight sim by far, although haven't spent much time playing Lock On yet.

  • I don't know what the switch is called, but it is on the panel with the JFS switch...

  • @thefullmonte03 Or you can get Freefalcon since Lead Pursuit is not releasing any new patches.

  • Read the manual on how to recover from deep stall. You must override the FCLS, pull throttle to zero (!) and try to synchronise manually with the nose motion. Only then you increase throttle again

  • The crash graphics are hardly an important factor, and the flight model is excellent. At least educate yourself before describing accurate behaviour as a bug.

  • Ehm, when you're start playin in the training section, how're supposed to learn how to use all the controls when there are no vioces or text appearing on the screen that tells you how to use them?

    Please answer. Thanks.

  • You must read the 700+ page manual.

  • Are you shitting me? ...

  • I swear to god. Falcon 4.0 is considered a study sim, it has the majority of all operations of a real f-16. THere are some video tutorials on here that can really speed things up for you, if you're interested i'll link you. But even watching those you still need to read quite a bit of the manual.

  • I'm interested, can you send them to me?

  • Could you send them to me too. I am also interested

  • where can i download falcon allied force mods or addons?

  • you have to buy it

  • thegamertools(dot)com. There there are skins, sounds and some tools.

  • thanks bro!!!

  • NP ^_^

  • lets chat

hi anyone want to chat XE

  • helped a lot thanks!!!

  • Nice tutorial on the use of the WDP tool. Attacking a bridge in the real world would either be done with a laser guided, GPS guided or enhanced laser guided (which means a combination of GPS and laser guiding features) weapon. If done with dumb bombs you'd better use a string of bombs, dropped in an ingress heading 20 to 30 degrees off the bridge's longitudinal axis and spaced only a few feet apart to add a better chance to hit and make multiple hits in one pass (-haul ass!) more likely.

  • allied force should have incorporated the JDAM package to the Mk 84 bomb.. then when its really cloudy u can get precision bomb guidance instead of the pure, featureless green that shows up with the laser targeting pod when there is overcast clouds.

  • Excellent.

  • now i know what pilots go through

  • What is WPD???hOW DO I GET IT??????

  • Thanks for the tutorial! This will come in handy when I start trying to use these features in OF.

  • Very nice, that helped a lot. Are you Danish by any chance?

  • Wat version is that??

  • Where do you get the WDP? I don't recall getting a copy with Falcon...

  • Amazing

  • good one

  • Thank You, very good job, i have only 1 critic...

Do something for your microphone, it has 2 much noise!

  • That.. was amazing actually.

  • What the fuck is that? Do you have to do that every time you go on a mission?

  • Yes I prepare every mission like this

  • You don't have to, of course, but if you want to attack using the GPS Precision Bombing system, that's how you do it. I haven't tried it yet (there's so many things to try in this game and I've only played it for a month), but it's apparently very effective.

  • Good stuff.

  • Does drift c/o (cut-out) have effect on CCIP bomb dropping. I read in the USAF Multicommand doc that it can it there is a cross wind.
