Well Gumball has its moments but Regular show is and Johnny Test is the only thing it has going on. Other than that its all Scooby Doo (which I care nothing for) and Adventure Time (which sucks ass) . o.a.n. Adult swim sucks now too.
Cartoons back then actually had creativity and meaning. Now a day, all you see is a disfigured "cartoon" character behind a solid color or background that lacks any depth. Overall, Cartoon Network took a turn for the worse. Cartoons today are horrific and completely stupid in all ways. I understand as time passes, there is change, but it doesn't have to mean a change for the worse. The best thing Cartoon Network could do, is provide people with old cartoons at least once or twice a week.

i was 7 when i was watching toonami now im 13 and cartoon network sucks i want toonami back but the stupid people of cartoon network in 2003 had to make naruto fillers and any anime shows didnt even finish a single season just one or two episode and thats it i realy hate it .Well toonami did give us some good memories and those cartoons from toonami would have been good for the next generation of children who love cartoons so i say that the cartoon network of 2008 to 2010 you suck
@TheBoyInBlack well the U.S they ask the creator to make the fillers and back in the U.S they show cartoon network shows for all the U.S territories and the naruto lovers and since the rating were high when naruto shows they thought that naruto fillers would boost the ratings even higher so they showed the fillers and then the ratings went down do to the fillers being not so good so they stoped watching some shows on cartoon network becuase they though that the naruto fillers woul show every day
fillers in anime are made when the anime has caught up to the original manga. when that happens, there are three things that can be done:
1. cancel the anime completely
2. put the anime on hiatus until more manga is released
3. create filler episodes
it has absolutely nothing to do with ratings or anything else. the anime had simply caught up with the manga. the only thing that Viz Media had to do with it at all was simply dubbing the filler and releasing it.
you want to know what happened to cartoon network, the same thing that happened to the galaxy rangers, they wanted to make money off the toy sales, and when the profits faded, they moved on to other shows, i would expect to see ben 10 canceled soon, along with maybe clone wars, though withe starwars name attached to it , not any time vsoon.

i cried, i cried remembering all the good times toonami, and cartoon network in general brought me, then i remembered all the great times i had as a kid. life sucks when you grow up, thats plain to see, but what we wanted was cartoon network to stay the same, so we would have a safe haven to remissness on older, better times. when life was a lot simpler, when homework and vegetables where all you worried about, when cartoons were good, and the music was better.

i live for Boomerang. the flinstones, jetsons, powerpuff girls, and i can even relate to my mom--she used to watch jonny QUEST, and the perils of penelope pitstop! these new shows cant relate anyone to anyone except the tweebs who watch it.
My son showed me this video and to me it was very emotional because when I was a kid I had channels I loved and they totally screwed 'em up with new layouts and shows. It remembered me of when I used to watch shows that I loved and then the next day they were gone. What is that crap!?
Whats wrong with Foster's Home? Truelly it was the last "Cartoon Cartoon" on Cartoon Network. It was the last show to retain that style. Besides, while Cartoon Cartoon Fridays was amazing, Toonami beat it. But I agree Cartoon Network is ruined now by fucking Chowder, Adventure Time, and Flap Jack. I honestly think all 3 of these are made for stoners.

Kids these days are missing out greatly. Cartoon Network would air cartoons that catered to EVERYONE 24/7, & we had great blocks. Then, we went through some shit. Fried Dynamite, Har Har Thursdays, death of Toonami, omission of many old cartoons, etc. Now have neither Cartoon Fridays nor Toonami & a bunch of crappy shows. And as much as I enjoy Adult Swim, sadly, it had to fill up the empty slots that quality shows that teens, children, AND adults once enjoyed late at night & could stay up. :(
Exactly how I feel! When i was 14 (now im 28) watching CN was fun. Johnny B, Cow & Chicken, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab etc etc... that was cool!! And now?? Ugly cartoons, filled with VIOLENCE. All they do is fight, and beat each other up, run around and create ADHD in small kids. I now have a nearly-2-year-old girl and I don't allow her to watch this channel, and won't for a very long time. I miss the good old CN!
At least it wasn't THAT bad until last year... Maybe the new series before latest 4-5 ones weren't as good as the old, original cartoons, but at least they were somewhat enjoyable. But in 2011, they got rid of some of the best ones like Dexter's laboratory or Foster's Home of Imaginary Friends, and began broadcasting stupid shit like Wow Wow Wubbzy or Mama Mirabel!! Sorry but Cartoon Network shouldn't be a channel for babies! There are other channels like Baby TV to do this.
I have a very weird feeling that when some of these reality shows are cancelled on CN, they will start being aired on Boomerang......The amount of reality shows will start outnumbering the cartoons and we'll be left with nothing....

I think I have a good way of telling people how badly CN screwed up when they made CN Real:

2012, it has gotten worse since 2007. Although I liked two things about the changes. The logo featured in this video was OK. I remember when they tried to make all the cartoons part of Cartoon Network World or something. That was quite a creative idea. The even newer logo looks worse than what you show. It's like the one featured in this video but no tilt on the letter blocks. Everything else is just junk.

I know new Cartoon Network sucks, but hey, its not all bad, in a few years, all of these shows will be on Boomerang and we will be able to relive the glory days. Nickelodeon already has a 90's block, so it shouldn't be long until Cartoon Network wises up.

i cried, i cried remembering all the good times toonami, and cartoon network in general brought me, then i remembered all the great times i had as a kid. life sucks when you grow up, thats plain to see, but what we wanted was cartoon network to stay the same, so we would have a safe haven to remissness on older, better times. when life was a lot simpler, when homework and vegetables where all you worried about, when cartoons were good, and the music was better.

Whats wrong with Foster's Home? Truelly it was the last "Cartoon Cartoon" on Cartoon Network. It was the last show to retain that style. Besides, while Cartoon Cartoon Fridays was amazing, Toonami beat it. But I agree Cartoon Network is ruined now by fucking Chowder, Adventure Time, and Flap Jack. I honestly think all 3 of these are made for stoners.

2004, I guess the change was a little bit good. But ever since 2007 the blocks got worse, favourite shows started disappearing, sequences like 'next' and 'later' got atrocious to look at. Toonami - GONE. Cartoon Cartoons - GONE. Cartoon Cartoons Top 10 - GONE. Fridays - GONE. Some European and WB stuff like Code Lyoko, Xiaolin Showdown, Mucha Lucha - FORGOTTEN.

Kids these days are missing out greatly. Cartoon Network would air cartoons that catered to EVERYONE 24/7, & we had great blocks. Then, we went through some shit. Fried Dynamite, Har Har Thursdays, death of Toonami, omission of many old cartoons, etc. Now have neither Cartoon Fridays nor Toonami & a bunch of crappy shows. And as much as I enjoy Adult Swim, sadly, it had to fill up the empty slots that quality shows that teens, children, AND adults once enjoyed late at night & could stay up. :(

Exactly how I feel! When i was 14 (now im 28) watching CN was fun. Johnny B, Cow & Chicken, Powerpuff Girls, Dexter's Lab etc etc... that was cool!! And now?? Ugly cartoons, filled with VIOLENCE. All they do is fight, and beat each other up, run around and create ADHD in small kids. I now have a nearly-2-year-old girl and I don't allow her to watch this channel, and won't for a very long time. I miss the good old CN!

At least it wasn't THAT bad until last year... Maybe the new series before latest 4-5 ones weren't as good as the old, original cartoons, but at least they were somewhat enjoyable. But in 2011, they got rid of some of the best ones like Dexter's laboratory or Foster's Home of Imaginary Friends, and began broadcasting stupid shit like Wow Wow Wubbzy or Mama Mirabel!! Sorry but Cartoon Network shouldn't be a channel for babies! There are other channels like Baby TV to do this.

2012, it has gotten worse since 2007. Although I liked two things about the changes. The logo featured in this video was OK. I remember when they tried to make all the cartoons part of Cartoon Network World or something. That was quite a creative idea. The even newer logo looks worse than what you show. It's like the one featured in this video but no tilt on the letter blocks. Everything else is just junk.
