Yes it is! I been to the flyovers at both the Crystal River mall and Dunellon airport ,with the Dunellon flyovers much more enjoyable since the cranes are flying over at a much lower altitude and you can buy a filling breakfast in one of the hangars :- ).
These whooping cranes flew in formation with an ultra light aircraft from Wisconsin to Florida. It's an amazing sight to look up and see these birds following along behind the aircraft!
