It's not over the top, now silly. It's a beast, and looks pretty. It's also meant to take out cars by damaging the engine block. So, you'll look great when stopping vehicles trying to speed through a checkpoint.

It's possible to have fun with guns without striving to be a HSLD tactical operator or championship bullseye shooter. In the case of the tiger 50AE DE, it has an interesting gas system, unique finish, and the round is fun to shoot every once in a while. "It's fun" is a 100% valid reason to own a gun.

Has an amazing accuracy, beat every others magnum's semi-auto easily, making the "so way better" Wildey Survivor look like an average gun in comparison... You can hit a target at more than 200 yards with no problem... Plus it's fun to shoot... I really don't understand all this hate for the DE...
@MrAlucard222 Its too heavy to carry comfortably in the woods so you're better off with a large caliber revolver. You can't use lead bullets so it is more expensive than shooting a revolver. I can hit a steel gong at 200 yards with a 1911. Most people can't shoot that good in my experiance either so they wouldn't be taking advantage of it's accuracy.
@AdmiralGST Well, i think it's a bit different to hit a thing at more than 200y with a .50AE than a .45ACP... The problem with lesser cost of lead bullets it's a false problem, especially for one that can afford a DE, and you can recharge instead of buy commercial ammos... Yes, it's a bit expensive, but every big semi-auto is, and the qualitatively inferior Wildey Survivor costs more, for example... DE is what it is, a reliable top quality gun for target and hunting, no more, no less...
@AdmiralGST Yes, using lead bullets in the DE is destructive for the gas system, of course... But you can use with no problem soft point or hollow point with 1/4 of lead in the front of the bullet... The important thing is that the lead is in no contact with the burning powder... I was relating to "the false problem" with lead only for the cost, for sure it's crazy to use that type of bullets in a gas operated pistol like a DE...

@AdmiralGST A Desert Eagle isn't good for anything? Sorry, but this is just wrong... DE is a top quality pistol, probably the best for big calibers semi-auto, and it's built like a tank... Has an amazing accuracy, beat every others magnum's semi-auto easily, making the "so way better" Wildey Survivor look like an average gun in comparison... You can hit a target at more than 200 yards with no problem... Plus it's fun to shoot... I really don't understand all this hate for the DE...

@MrAlucard222 Its too heavy to carry comfortably in the woods so you're better off with a large caliber revolver. You can't use lead bullets so it is more expensive than shooting a revolver. I can hit a steel gong at 200 yards with a 1911. Most people can't shoot that good in my experiance either so they wouldn't be taking advantage of it's accuracy.
Only good as a range gun, an expensive toy.

@AdmiralGST Well, i think it's a bit different to hit a thing at more than 200y with a .50AE than a .45ACP... The problem with lesser cost of lead bullets it's a false problem, especially for one that can afford a DE, and you can recharge instead of buy commercial ammos... Yes, it's a bit expensive, but every big semi-auto is, and the qualitatively inferior Wildey Survivor costs more, for example... DE is what it is, a reliable top quality gun for target and hunting, no more, no less...

@AdmiralGST Yes, using lead bullets in the DE is destructive for the gas system, of course... But you can use with no problem soft point or hollow point with 1/4 of lead in the front of the bullet... The important thing is that the lead is in no contact with the burning powder... I was relating to "the false problem" with lead only for the cost, for sure it's crazy to use that type of bullets in a gas operated pistol like a DE...

The problem is that there are too many DE's haters, that probably never tried one, and they listen only to the false legends about this superb pistol... For sure films and some videogamers ruined the reputation of the DE, but that's just a silly reason to hate the pistol... All the stories about unreliability, jams and poor accuracy are a bunch of bullshits... DE is a state of the art pistol, by far the best magnum's semi-auto, end of story...

there is no such thing as the best gun,
there are pros and cons to every gun DE:pros? none that i can think of really

Somethings are just fun to shoot, whether it's a .50 BMG or a .50 DE or a .44 Mag. How is having some fun while shooting not a pro?

listen, i dont hate the gun, what i hate is the mass herd of "shooters"-yet-to-actaully-shoot that go on about the DE, LIKE its the best gun in the world. i personally dont like the eagle for its weight. hold 2pnds for a couple hours then hold 5 pnds tell me which u prefer.

@AdmiralGST I`1m a real shooter, I`ve been around guns all my life, and I spent 6 year in the Army so that makes me a professional shooter, and I would envy anybody with a Desert Eagle. I can`t afford one or I would get one.
