I've been working with Workstations for 15 years. From Yamaha SY85 to Yamaha EX7 and lastly Korg Triton studio. I want one of these so much. Open Lab I think I love you :)
i want one so bad. like most i have basically all the components that make this workstation however mine is all single pieces of gear (maschine controller, korg kontrol 49, 3 external 500 gb hard drives, m-audio torq x-ponent, line 6 pod xtl and my macbook pro) i've been wanting a pc based rig again mainly for ableton and this looks like the way to go. for me it may be a long way but it gives me more drive to get on selling my beats. i have a goal people !!! and it's called the neko
ii just brough a touch screen tablet and a mpc and a midicontroler and korg triton i have the mpd24 and a edirol interface explain if anyone no's is the software used in the lx5 avalible to buy or any other windows products avalible for the producer....?
yes. it literally can sub out for your entire studio. I dont own one but my producer does, and he has composed beats from scratch and mastered them right in the neko with NO external hardware or interfaces. But it is compatible with all your other software as well windows based : )
Wow. I love my NeKo TSE, can't wait to upgrade mine with the new control surfaces. Mix-edit and Bump MP are really really cool. That last pad is the first update to the MPC format in years and is really really really (one more time) REALLY cool. Now if only we had a joystick and ribbon controller ..... :-)
haha, what doesn't it do?
