he has paid the price tho ,and done his "Penance".I wish him luve and happiness for always..he brought me and millions of other die hard s&h ds fans so much when we were young ,he deserves some peace and harmony in his personal life now...xx
Great look at the man behind the "idol"....I don`t think the remark about "Black curly haired jews" was a slight towards them ,but a flippant comment..Remember all the newspapers poking fun at the relationship between him and Paul ,and ,what they aimed for...a strong ;loving bond between ,as they`ve both said ,"could`ve been anything..plumbers ,journalists cops!:)....So ,obv ,the press took that as them being "gay" ,and i still recall their answer...PMG..."I prefer good looking brunettes"..David
I too am british ,and do just about remember staying up late to see David in this documentary...many thanks for the memories ,and a look back at my teen hearthrob!:):)
I'm British - I do remember the documentary. The remark about 'black curly haired Jews' worried me then - just as it does now. the subconscious rises to the fore sometimes - especially when there is a bottle of beer around.
He is such a nice bloke, but he doesn't seem to know how to cope with the attention. The narrator sounds like Ray Brooks, don't know if it is.
shame the recording is fuzzy but its very interesting. you automatically think fame etc. is all to do with getting big houses, its nice to see his values aren't along those lines. thanks for posting the film.
