I'm not criticizing you, and I "cheat" in music production all the time, so don't take this the wrong way, but anyone who plays piano on a regular basis doesn't find this really all that difficult. You take a chord, and instead of playing it as a block you break it up, and because its the same harmonic structure all the way through you basically have one bit of muscle memory that needs to be learned and you just repeat it through.

The thing about real skill is that it's basically just like this but all done very quickly in the mind and hands. With tools like FL Studio we are simply doing what we're not gifted to do. It's pretty cool if you ask me. When the mind and fingers are not one, we turn to FL Studio:)
