  • Google Plex was great.

  • i dont know what the fuk he's talking about, but its so exciting!!!!!

  • oops he said the price of solar per kilowatt instead of watt - twice.

  • @sockosockosocko per kwH im guessing

  • .1%

  • Remember when we moved out of our parents for the first time? That costs money app fees, lease fee, deposit and other things you need for your place. After that there was no need for excessive money lost out of your pocket except for rent. If you willingly pulled that cash from your pocket for your own benefit then what is the problem with money being used for a better future? Our planet is not going to handle us much longer at the pace we're running it..

  • where's the proper legislation that makes clean renewable energy a reality in the U.S.?

  • He didn't even know what focus fusion is... I wonder if he knows about reverse configuration or the polywell.

  • @speedplane

hmm... then maybe u should go to Washington D.C and enlightens him.

i'm sure we'll need all the help from smart people like u. ;)

  • The Carbon Credit system has been around for a while... circulating. It's weird to think of a carbon credit as a STOCK Option though. I mean, can you picture that kind of world where carbon credits are traded like stocks? It's either really good or really bad...

  • This guy knows his stuff; America will benefit because of him.

  • FOCUS FUSION <3

  • @deusAtheismus Im anxiously waiting for fusion too buddy but... what do we do in this 20 year interval we still cant harness it commercially?

    Re: not fusion

  • Sensible administration...?! It feels strange, but it could renew your faith in the world.

  • Scientists doing work without getting paid... typical

  • Here's what you do: take that electricity and use is to separate hydrogen from oxygen in water. Ta Da! That's how you don't lose the electricity.

  • Practical, cost-effective electrolysis of water is ~50-70% efficient.

Practical, cost-effective hydrogen fuel cells don't exist, but the ones that do exist are about 40% efficient. Compressors are rather inefficient and will consume energy equivalent to ~10-20% of the energy content of the hydrogen gas depending on pressure. Hydrogen is about the leakiest substance in the world, there are non-negligible losses here as well. The theoretical upper boundary of hydrogen fuel cell efficiency is 83%.

  • You've overlooked a few things, like how much it costs to do that.

  • broma30

  • I love the part where he says we should internationally prosecute carbon violators like we do rogue states with WMDs... was that an acknowledgement that Iraq was successful, that Obama sucks at diplomacy or that he wants a one world Government? I'm baffled.

  • That man knows his stuff!

  • so this is what 99% of future youtube videos are like eh?

  • 24:38 did he say "Russia... showing my age"? what did he mean by that?

  • He said 'Soviet Union' when he meant to say Russia (that's what the country is called right now). He said 'showing my age' because for most of his life it was called the Soviet Union, and he was used to calling it that instead of Russia.

  • awesome!

  • Is that wrong?

  • It's not wrong, but think about it.

If (or when) the government ask Google for private information about their users, what do you think Eric Schmidt is gonna go?

From this perspective I like way better what Steve Ballmer said when the government wanted to do an inquiry inside Microsoft.

He said: "the hell with Janet Reno"

  • All Youtube partners can post long videos.

    Google owns Youtube.

  • Wow interesting. 11th comment! Yay! On a video soon to have millions of views!

  • I doubt it will have 1,000,000.

  • obama should invest

  • Chu Dat

  • haha

  • Lol @24:30 ^_^

  • I'm neither a physicist, nor an engineer, but I really appreciate individuals working in these sort of fields because they are among the individuals that can greatly improve our way of life.

A nice thought invoking discussion; I recommend it.

  • GO NORWAY!

  • And, 41 Mins!
