I missed The Police version... what's the point in changing the original riff?? is way better than this (riff = the notes that makes the piano in the verse of the original version) Sting sings well anyway but I missed The Police in many many ways... mostly in the GUITAR and the drums of course... ok, attack me now

@DiazdelVivar not me vato. the original mtv version was pop overproduction genius. i loved the hybrid reggae drums. it rocked. this is kinda "lah lah lah". softer. somebody else suggested it should be done as a mambo. i hope he tries that too. (he's got to change up his arrangements or as a creative person he'd go crazy doin the same shit every night . trust me.

@markmarktarmann I would love to hear in mambo or rumba... BUT with the original riff gaeada- gaeada, and the original harmonny of course... otherwise it would be better to make a whole new song... BTW there are softer versions of Message in a bottle, just Sting and his guitar, one voice and one guitar, sounds softer of course but in a good way (for me... )

Sting is an absolute dream, when on stage with a crowd of passionated musicians - i was once in an concert in Frankfurt in the 90s - it was a complete privilege to be part of that show, because once he starts - he takes you into this enthusiastic wave like a Tornado.. never had the same feeling before..

So., Sting live - is a must !
