@DeadofWinter321 one of the main plus sides of the old pathfinder was its sturdy build...body on frame also proved to be a very heavy duty, very off road capable build. with this new structure, the GVWR goes wayy down, as does towing and off roading. this has become a sissy soccermom mobile...it suffered the same fate as the new Explorer.

I've owned a '92 pathfinder for several years now. It was my first car. I still hold that it was one of the most solidly built and designed SUV's ever. Seeing this one, which just looks like an over-inflated Murano, makes me very very sad. Its difficult to come to the realization that the same company that can design something as dramtic as the GT-R, or as beautiful as the 370z, will make this thing. Send it back.

Another suv has been neutered! And the last nail in the coffin for this suv (can't even call it a pathfinder anymore) will be adding in a CVT transmission. Basically, the pathfinder has become a hand-me-down model of the soon to be released Infiniti JX crossover. Guess it won't be long before they do the same thing to the Xterra huh?
When they showed the front i was like nothing big... then they showed the side and back and i was heart broken. The SUV has been blocky since the ages of Datsun. My family has owned 3 Pathfinders and now seeing this just tears me apart.
They made this not for off-roading but for school runs and for large families , so people dont have to drive around in shitty minivans. With this they dont have to pay for all the non useful off roading stuff but still get the coolness of an SUV. I think its a great idea, lets just hope they leave the Xterra badassness.
When will the Car makers learn that people like CUVs that look like SUVs, not CUVs that look like Minivans. Another suv has been neutered! And the last nail in the coffin for this suv (can't even call it a pathfinder anymore) will be adding in a CVT transmission. Basically, the pathfinder has become a hand-me-down model of the soon to be released Infiniti JX crossover. Guess it won't be long before they do the same thing to the Xterra huh?

When they showed the front i was like nothing big... then they showed the side and back and i was heart broken. The SUV has been blocky since the ages of Datsun. My family has owned 3 Pathfinders and now seeing this just tears me apart.

They made this not for off-roading but for school runs and for large families , so people dont have to drive around in shitty minivans. With this they dont have to pay for all the non useful off roading stuff but still get the coolness of an SUV. I think its a great idea, lets just hope they leave the Xterra badassness.

When will the Car makers learn that people like CUVs that look like SUVs, not CUVs that look like Minivans. Just look at the Ford Escape, it looks like an SUV and it's one of the best selling vehicles of in the states and the best selling CUV. Nissan should have kept a more SUV like design and its transfer case.

I loved the published "out takes" of the 2013 concept Pathfinder. MT has some humor...right on. Nissan, this new thing you badged as the Pathfinder is not going to work for previous owners. The previous body styling was awesome, but the interior & that HIDEOUS T-shaped steering wheel should have been updated before this dynamic negative change.

I agree with the dude below me. Who the fuck uses a pathfinder for offl reading. That's why they make trucks and jeeps. Most pathfinder owners have families and if I had a family, I would buy this over any other minivan. Nissan all the way.

@remelsheikh who takes their pathfinder offroad? Try putting in "pathfinder offroad" in the search above, and you'll be pleasently suprised! Nissan already has a crossover, it's called the Murano???
And the guy your referring to, is probably using his own judgement to assume that 90% of pathfinder owners will never get dirt on them! Also, the pathfinder was a direct competitor to the Toyota 4runner! Don't see Toyota turning the 4runner into a crossover since almost 27 years or so.

@1LoudMerc I know that theres many out there who takes pathfinders offroad but thats a small portion. The bottom line is, its going to sell. Like crazy. The Pathfinder has always been one of the best selling suv's and I think they nailed it with this one. This looks like a great alternative to the Lexus and other luxary suv's.

Here's the reality, the Pathfinder will NEVER sell "like crazy" especially the way it looks now! In comparison tests, the Toyota 4runner beats the Pathfinder in performance and power. 266 for the pathfinder vs 270hp in the 4runner.Even the Jeep GC crushes the pathfinder with 360hp (V6).
Best selling suv you call the pathfinder? Go compare sales numbers to the 4runner, or GC and you'll see the reality,ha,ha ;)!!!

Funny you said "sell like crazy" and since the pathfinder has become a cuv now, lets see how the pathfinder "sells like crazy" compared to others from Audi,BMW,Toyota, Jeep,and Ford! Compare the sales numbers individually to each model, and you will see that the pathfinder doesn't stand a chance ;)

@remelsheikh and also, The Jeep Grand Cherokee in 2011 sold over 127,000 units. The Nissan Pathfinder has never outsold either the Toyota 4runner or the Jeep Grand Cherokee. And to this day,both of those suvs are still the same and didn't have to become a crossover mommymobile like the Pathfinder has become!
And if you need a better clue, just read comments here from other people,and check the dislikes for this '13 Pathfinder! But then again, your just a clueless individual!
