actually, nikki was way the heck out at the top of the key with someone right up on her. she was being reckless because she was mad, but she still didn't use the pass for an easy lay-up like she's supposed to. if she had missed, it would have been completely pointless. besides,calling for the ball and scoring doesn't make someone a ball-hog. since heidi and heather have a good 6 inches on just about everyone, all they have to do is put their hands in the air and they're open. why not use that?
When my friend and I were in 7th grade, she lived in the same town as our school but then moved to another town in 8th grade. The school had her address or whatever from last year so they never checked it and they didn't know the difference because her mom drove her to and from school everyday.
Where I grew up, school district is a HUGE deal, and can increase the value of a house by close to 50% for the top school. That said, that "top school" is so thoroughly corrupt that they find ways to exclude (expel) students with poor academic/sporting skills who live 1 street away from the school (like a friend of mine) and bus in students from across town if they have strong academic/sporting skills.
if they dont live within the school district then they cant go to the school. i aggree its very stupid. me and my neighbors had been going to the same school for years and they tried to send me a letter one day saying that i didnt live in the school district. they changed the line where one district ends and another begins and the line was now accross the street from my house. everyone accross the street could attend the school but i wasnt allowed. i went to the school anyways. wrote an appeal
some schools only allow children inside a circle around the school.
Like, say you live in a village. And you go to school there. But yo uare allowed to go there because you live in that village. While some children from a town or village nearby are not allowed because they don't live within that circle.
most suburban schools require tht u live in the neighborhood to go to the town's school. maniny because the public schools are funded by the town's taxes, if u dont live in the town u don't contribute to the school basically.
b/c you pay taxes to a certain town or whatever, and some of those town taxes that you pay go toward your towns public schools. so basically if you go to a different towns public school, youre kind of using other ppls tax money, and you can end up causing the other towns taxes to be raised in order for sufficient funds to be had for that school.
