@yp1391 You should buy it, its really good for a 2004 game. I have it on the xbox. The sound effects are scary and the graphics are good. It's similar to silent hill and Call of Cthulhu . If you like scary games get this, its a good break from all the crappy "next gen" games.

The brightness setting is supposed to be lower for more of a scare effect. First time I played the game I set the darkness low and seriously had to put down the controller quite a few times because it started to mess with my head. But when I set the brightness higher the second time around it didn't scare me nearly as much.

let dewd i got a problem with the game. see, each time i play it no matter what graphic options i select, after a while i experience "visual tearing" - my display goes crazy. well so i read that if i turn vertical sync on it's supposed to eliminate this glitch. but it's not working even if i restart the game after i apply the option. when i played the suffering 2 i didn't encounter this bug. you know how to fix it?...

Well... there is a configuration screen but only apears when you install game for first time, maybe you can fix it installing and re-installing the game to find the correct configuration, that´s the only way I know... or maybe the file was corrupt. :(
