Well, I really only like Octaslash for how it can make a fight more awesome than it actually is. Like for example using it against sephiroth while The Worlds Enemy is playing. My personal favorite DMW would probably be Lucky Stars.

You need to play all Limit Break Scenes you can see, some of which are only available in the later parts of the game. When you reach Gongaga near the end, you can fill them to 100%.

The only thing you can do is use Lucky Stars and equip Zack with that Limit's Enhancer Materia. You find the shop for them in Gongaga, behind one of the houses. The materia increase your chances of landing on that limit.

Variations all have different strengths. That in itself is irrelevant because the base enemies on both are pretty close in HP and damage which means that on both sides, the cap is pretty much equal. Zack still wins.

there are variations for the mech but the guard scorpian is the only one in both. He's the first boss in FF7 and a much later boss in CC and they both go down in roughly the same number of strikes from the buster sword. Its the same thing so is the only comparison between the damage caps.

However, the game still dictates the strength of the characters and if you compare Sephiroth's incarnations in both games (Sephiroth? Hello? You missed a boss!!!) They are pretty similar in HP. So if the numbers do not lie, then that would mean that both are relatively the same. Besides, Sephiroth was a killer in both games.

No. It's reel based system. There are Materia however out there that will help you get a certain one more often. They're located in shops, though some shops are harder to get. Though in some situations you are in during the game you get one DMW more then the others. [i.e. After meeting Aerith]

I actually think it made the game original and fun! At first it's annoying, a giant slot machine gets to choose when you get to level and use limit breaks, but by the end I really liked it. It was weird going back to the old system.

i liked it all except i didn't like the whole you need to be lucky to level. I wouldn't mind if they made it so it took luck, but with every battle you're odds increased slightly.

Well you'll find shops in various missions. 4 missions will find you four shops that have Materia that enable you to get more DMW limit breaks. Depending on who you put on of course. I put Seph and Angeal on and I get a lot of Octslash and Rush Assaults. XD

Dear RagingPheonix,

To kill Septhroth (round 2) you simply first use barrier (so he dosnt kill you)then go to the middle and start beating the living out of him while you can. When he uses a move get ready to block, Or if he pushes you back, Quickly get back to the center and attack him while you still can.

Well, if you have enough MP or some spare ethers, you can also spam Blizzard type spells on him, preferably blizzaga. As long as you can continually cast the spell Sephiroth cant even get one attack out except Octaslash, nothing stops that.

Lol lucky you! same way i got my psp. anyways, its completely random to some extent. when you lvl up its not random (book says it the reel has to be 777 but you have an invisable xp bar)and your first time useing a new dmw is not random but after the first time it all depends on you limit state and that reel that spins on the top left corner of the screen. the higher the limit state is the more likley you will get a summon/limit/chocobo attack
