What if a Gay person commits a crime ,would that be a hate crime, why or why not.

If a gay person commits a crime against a straight person based on HATE, then it would be a hate crime. If someone commits a crime against someone else based on HATE for their religion, race, sexual orientation, gender, etc., then it is a hate crime.

i am sitting in tears as i type this. it is really moving. people dont think these hate crimes can happen to someone they know, or even to them. It can.
