It's an envelope filter, sounds like it even has a very soft distortion pedal also. Flea uses the envelope filter in a bunch of their songs.

auto wah's are a little more on there own and just kind of do there own thing, but this the wah is following the notes...and is more controlled...and thats what a envelope filter does

good job you got it, however think in economy of motion, play the A notes with the open string rather jumping. same for the chorus play C and B on 3rd and 2nd frets respectively, wont sound like such a huge jump to the low E then.
