(IE: more stimulus) So if huge spending on government programs is good for the economy (as both the chinese and Obama supporters believe) then he is saying the Chinese should invest more US debt as Obama does more to make our economy recover. Domestic investors still own most of the National Debt. Last time I checked somewhere between 70-75% of the National Debt was held by Americans, while only about 13% was held by China, and 13% by Japan. China's ownership of the National Debt is even smaller than I quoted here. 27% of the National Debt is owned by foreign countries, with China and Japan holding 24% and 21%, respectively. A US official pointing out that our budget is inaccurate is not treason. You are using hyperbole which is why you ignored my example of actual treason.

No you weren't using my analogy at all. Your analogy equated the Chinese to the thiefs, but they are clearly not. My analogy wasn't that expansive and complex anyway it was a simple case of difference in degrees. A little bit stealing is still stealing (albeit less serious) a little bit of undermining is still undermining and treasonous for a public official. It's not aiding the enemy but it is undermining us.

You're having a hard time keeping up with this conversation. You even quoted me using your analogy. "No, by your logic, being an employee of the store and saying that you can see why a person stole bubble gum is theft."
The bubble gum and the store analogy is yours. Let me know when you've realized I was using your analogy, and that when you say it makes no sense, you're agreeing that your analogy makes no sense.

You were not using my analogy. My analogy has nothing to do with observing bad behavior, your structure is completely different. My analogy was simply: 'a little bit of something is still something' and yours makes a totally different point (one that frankly has nothing to do with the subject).

Look Tubalar, you do not have to agree with me that this is a treasonous act. We both clearly have different thresholds in what counts for that. I think we both can realize aiding and abiding the enemy in a war is different then the comments Kirk made. I'd count both as undermining and thus treasonous but of course on a totally different level, maybe enough so that applying the same label to both is indeed unhelpful. Agree to disagree.
However this business about analogies is nonsense.

There is no business about analogies. You used an analogy about a store and theft and I adjusted the analogy and used it back on you and you somehow thought this was talking about F-22 fighters. You made a mistake and you won't admit it. That's not business, just dishonesty.
