The same thing goes for raw chipboard. There are some coated chipboards that have a sort of glossy finish that it works well on.

Do I have to use glossy cardstock? I understand why...but can I use these inks on regular cardstock?

Hi Janice:

You can use the inks on regular cardstock, but it will suck up the ink and the colors are not as vibrant. Try it and see if you like it.

Why do you have to "heat set?"

[paperpatti]

I heat set it to speed up the drying time. You can let it dry by itself.
