Here is my question. Do you know what Saturn looks like, at all, from any angle, using any equipment? Sure I gotta say now a days it's hard to believe anything we see honestly. Everything could technically be faked, shoped or edited. But do you really know how an image like that comes together? Maybe its been edited to better see color and detail, etc. But some of it quite possibly is real. Just some food for thought to all those who want to uncover the truth.
Also the reason the "darkside" isn't completely dark is because there is infact a light source on the dark side... half you dim wits will never see it though
There is a shadow on the rings you complete 1:37 the Sun is behind.... the way you'd want it painted the suns light would have to somehow curve round the planet and light up a part of the ring that in Shadow....Gotta laugh at the numbers of people on you tube who think everyone is lying to them
That anyone, let alone the folks at NASA, would believe anyone would take this Nasa 'photo' as real, is extremely laughable. To be completely honest; I could have done a far better job with nothing more than Windows Paint. And with this faux-photo, NASA has essentially destroyed what little credibility (lolz) it had left. the satellite was far away from saturn. if it looks like the picture was cropped, it would only be for viewing pleasure. Not cropped to take away from it's natural aesthetics. it's not like it has forever to take the picture!

@5T4RSCREAM144 - Actually it is. What looks like rings on the surface are actually reflections and shadows from the light reflected from the rings at the back of Saturn. The actual rings don't show up directly behind the planet as it's in shade because of the eclipse. It does look a little too perfect to be real, but it is.

Hate to burst your stupid-bubble-but this is an actual solar eclipse photo from Cassini's pov. The joke is that this was released in 2006 I believe-it's been my desktop photo since 2007. Earth is the tiny speck on the left. Suddenly everything REAL is fake and everything FAKE is real. IMHO only the NEWS, Politicians, "terrorists", and an unknown percentage of BREASTS are fakes we need to worry about.
Ok, lets just say NASA was telling the truth...in the image Saturn is not sitting in the centre of its rings (which would normally orbit it), it is actually sitting in the foreground rings. So to me that is not a great sign for Earth!!! Hence why the rings dont align. I totally agree that it looks like a really bad photoshop image. If you analyse where Saturn is sitting...maybe this is NASA's way of showing a sign?..and being such an unbelievable image most miss Saturn is way off its axis!!!?

Saturn is a 'wimpy' planet. Don't bother looking at it or any images of it. There may be conspiracy theories stating that Saturn had surface changes, but these are clearly not true. I just reviewed the latest Cassini photosh... er... photo and it clearly shows that there is nothing unusual on the planet.

I went to the NASA/JPL Cassini project page and could not find this image anywhere. I was assuming it was a "new" image since it came up on Yahoo News yesterday. It didn't make the "best" off either.

They are probably using Cassini to take pics of nibiru or sun flares and dont want to reveal them so they photoshop a pic of saturn and say, "this is what we have been using cassini for".
I am a graphic designer, very familiar with Photoshop. I can see how it looks fake as hell, but some elements are too good to be faked. I am not saying that it wasn't touched at all. But the "flare" on the bottom left, the sun, looks natural. I do think that the rest may have been enhanced.
Go outside, around 5:30ish (pm) and take a backlit photo of an object. The time of day is important. It must be near to sunset. Takes practice.
i am a graphic designer, but i don't even think a person actually needs to have actually went to school for graphic arts to be able to tell that picture is a f*cking cartoon lol.

It looks fake from the first glance at it, as if a magnifying glas is on top of the rings.But perhaps there is something authentic in it they want to show us, at the same time making us not believe it. Why else would they do that? Did you play around with contrast and colors to find something?

I went to the NASA/JPL Cassini project page and could not find this image anywhere. I was assuming it was a "new" image since it came up on Yahoo News yesterday. It didn't make the "best" off either.
I'd suggest that if NASA wants to be relevant, they ought to stop giving their PR people crayons to enhance their images.

It's been flipped over. And interestingly enough, right after I was told that, Yahoo! or Google, one of the two, was posting on this dark, black planet that they found next to Jupiter. Well, hellooo, what's next to Jupiter? Saturn. So, interesting. A lot of these other planets being affected.

i am a real artist,art school trained, #1 notice the width of the white line,around the outer disc of the planet, its the same width all the way around,it doesnt very one micrometer. #2 no stars, not even one fricking quasar #3 AIRBRUSH,its an airbrushed painting of what an artists concept of a photograph of saturn would look like,thats cheating, i want you to fly the hell out there and take a picture of the damned thing ...what no pretty swirly clouds...this sucks a half-gallon!

I am a graphic designer, very familiar with Photoshop. I can see how it looks fake as hell, but some elements are too good to be faked. I am not saying that it wasn't touched at all. But the "flare" on the bottom left, the sun, looks natural. I do think that the rest may have been enhanced.
Go outside, around 5:30ish (pm) and take a backlit photo of an object. The time of day is important. It must be near to sunset. Takes practice.
