I HATED this book. The characters were weak shells of human existence. with crabs in a barrel mentality. What a waste of trees to print this. The style was verbose and totally uninteresting. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen. It never did. What a boring story of human apathy. Don't bother reading this.

This is a fantastic book! It made me think about things I hadn't considered before, it touched my heart and made me laugh. I loved it! Now I can't wait to read more of her work.

The book sucked, i finished it last week, i couldn't get it. Gyan,sai, the judge,the cook, biju,lola, noni,etc

Oh! it was pointless waste of time,!!! how could the committee award her a booker !!!

i just read this book - it was amazing. The topic, the story line the feelings, the thoughts were so true. Places and characters were brilliant.
