  • Shiny political knife fight sounds like an awesome name for a band

  • The US will NEVER win this war, if they were fightning aganist a professional military they had a chance, but what there fightning is faith, and when your motivation comes from religion these guys are willing to sacrifice everything

  • @LegendSnake08 It DID win that war.

  • I do like Pam, she is about the only one who I've read that has told the success stories out of Iraq as well as debating 'The Shiney Political Knife Fight'.

I guess that is why we don't see much of her on t.v. Pam writes it as she sees it and won't follow the template of either side.

    Can't ask much more.

Kudos to Kurtz for putting her on.

  • I like Pam but I wish she could define win and lose. Is winning the abolition of terrorism in Iraq? Is it democracy in Iraq? Maybe I'm cynical but I don't think either of those are realistically possible.

  • If we lose they will follow us home, like they did in Nam, and open eateries.

  • if the unbiased, rational, logical truth helps bush's case, then it's "right-wing propaganda" and not to be trusted or adhered to. This is the mindset of the left.

  • I'm sick of this War, I want our troops out, however I'm level headed enough to think, if the greatest military on earth can't stabilize Iraq, the next country that ACTUALLY (not saying Iraq did) supports terrorism will have no fear. All you have to do is go to war with America for more than two years and then the American Public will lose their appetite for war. I believe that Al-Qaeda strategy in Iraq, and its going to work.

  • She is right...and kinda cute, too

  • I really like her. Alot. She is asking intelligent questions and rising above politics in her take. Smart lady.

  • There's nothing to be won here, we already "liberated" them and if they choose willingly to fight amungst themselves well we can't do much. If they do want us there aswell, we can't do much but leave. There's better ways of trying to help Iraq become stable, which include international forces and diplomacy. Obama '08!

  • If I accept her analysis, the next question is: what is the US's role now? Do we stay until the shia/sunni violence is resolved? There is deep, centuries old sectarian hatred at the root of this. Do we mediate their civil war for another century, losing untold lives and treasure in the process?

  • Reinertorheit, by your comment you present yourself to be a person without the intelligence to put together a clear thought with actual facts and foundation. Your comments is so typically uninvolved, rock throwing rhetoric it's a complete joke. Read something more than just the tabloids and you might learn something.

  • who is HESS?

    is she dual citizen?

  • Title shoud read "Reporter Drinking Administration Kool-Aid On Iraq"

  • Truly an ignorant, mindless comment. You really should listen to the words of the video before you comment. But please share with us where you feel her comments are incorrect? Try to use clear concise thoughts and facts and not just more rhetoric.

  • Mmmm hmmm. Democrats are the ones with the blood lust.

  • The old "nobodies responsible for anything" just pass the buck people, not solve the problem.

  • Seriously good point, imo

  • You leave Iraq...it's that simple and if it goes to hell then so be it...it's not our responsibility...

  • Damn, please step away from the mike please! You make americans look bad

  • She made very important points. I like her.

  • All true.
