I might get minuses for saying this(<-or that), but the problem with those anthro lions turning people into other anthro lions is the fact that they've been brainwashed after they transformed and are nowloyal servants that to the ones that changed them. So basically you won't be "completely" yourself after you become one of them and chances are that your lion self will be doing other things rather than the things you want to do when you become one, meaning you take a back seat in your own mind.
