AND... sorry for the extra comment if possible would you be able to send me a picture maybe of where you wired it? if not it's totally cool, but if you have time could you possible let me know how you wired it from the cabin to the battery? thanks again, and sorry for the spamming
Hey man, looking great! I had a question, I am installing a sound system in my fit over this coming weekend, and was wondering where you sent the wire from inside the car to the battery? where and how did you go through? thanks man!
Do you like the JBL's? I am looking at getting some so every little bit you can tell me about what you do and dont like would be super awesome! They look bad ass in the video!
@lukebrwntube Yeah man I loved 'em. Don't have these anymore though. I have an 18" now, but these were still the best subs I ever owned. I've heard 2 of these in a friend's car in a box tuned to the high 30's, and they got pretty damn loud, but they weren't terribly clean. But this box is tuned to 25 hz and the SQ is incredible. Cleanest subs I've ever heard, and I've heard quite a few. I'd definitely recommend these.
@bullet4mv93 Well I like the deepest, cleanest hit I can get. Like right now my box is made of 13 ply baltic birch (same material JBL, EAW and other professional sound companies make their boxes out of) and is tuned to 32 Hz and it fuckin shakes your guts out all the way down to about 22 Hz without losing hardly any db. But right now I have my box with two Pyle PLD12WD's in it hooked up to a Crown Macro-Tech 2400 amp down stairs facing a cemente wall, about a foot away. So yes, deep and clean!
No disrespect guys to any of you but these are far from beginner subs.. These are the BEST subs considering their output, power handling and the price tag under 200.. You can not get a Sub to even come close to these for the price, power handeling, SQ, as well as SPL.. Also, one last note, JBL gives RMS of 400, but these need at least 800 to get full potential. I have 2 with the 1400.1 pushing them almost 2 years now.. still sound bran new.
ha thats my favorite part of the song too i played that song on my five twelves. ha i got that other song let me see the booty ha. that looks badd dude like the deck!
i take it english isn't your first language....i don't really know what you're trying to say. Yes it's a small car, but smaller enclosures = bigger bass. So i'm ok with it lol.
I wouldn't know. The only subs I had before these were the GT4-12's, and those were like $60 apiece. And the only other car i've been in with subs has been one with 2 GT5-12's, and mine are much better. but the GT5-12's were under 150.
As far as 12's, these are probably the loudest you can get. They have a 97dB sensitivity at 400 wRMS, as far as S.Q. I don't know... These are great subs for (no pun intended) beginners AND people who know their way around a system, reasons being you don't want to buy top top end if you don't know what you're doing with it, but these will slam regardless... Nice vid, let me know the quality of the driver itself.
I wouldn't call these top end...I think the JL W7's are better. And I pretty much have no clue what i'm doing. Honestly, I just got these 'cause they were big, and they looked sick. The only real specification I payed attention to on these were the fact that they were 400 wRMS. And I fail to see the pun you're talking about....lol.
Oh, and as if to validate my lack of knoweldge....you're gonna have to explain what you mean by the quality of the driver lol
the amp is fine. It's more than enough power. That first song I was playing was just really low so it doesn't move them that much. And I was still breaking them in when I made that video. Now they move a lot more on that song.
Dude what year is that fit?
