  • My most favorite pedal. Don't use anything other. For a good Bodom tone (mostly what I play) I set mids to "9", scoop at half, treb down a bit, bass at half, and distortion around "7". Amp is leveled out. Kick ass pedal though for being digital \,,/

  • the strings are making more noise than the amplifier :S

  • Way to much Treble! You need a fuller tone by adding more bass and middle.

  • @j2guitarjon82 it's because he has it in the metal setting with the scoop high as fucking balls. if you stick it in pulverize, crank down the scoop, flatten the mids, and turn up the gain, you got some fucking Lamb of God or CoB shit. hell yeah!

  • shitty digital crap - i don't know who plays these shitty pedals.

  • @andyjett

Got any suggestions on better pedals?

  • @Symblotic depends on type of tone you're looking for

  • @andyjett

Well I'm that typical 80's old school metal fan. Heavy metal, thrash metal, death metal you name it. I want that TYPICAL 80's early 90's sound and NOTHING else

  • @Symblotic i'm more into 80's glam metal hard rock sound -so i guess we're talkin about similar kinda tone! pedals i'm talking about may sound like not high gain enough from the begginning but you gotta give em a chance: you kbow the heaviest sound doesn't mean you have to turn gain on full! so for 50 bucks i would recommend boss hm-2 - legendary [pedal used by Entombed! might sound like not high gain enough but actually it has enough gain to make some cool riffage!

  • @Symblotic 2nd thing is Marshall shredmaster - but it costs a lot. the good thing about HM-2 and Marshall shredmaster is that these pedals act like real analogue mini amps.

You won't believe it but BOSS ds-1 is really good thing gets really heavy on max! and i would definitely recommend marshall jackhammer - and don't listen what people say about these pedals! believe me they are way better than line 6 digital crap.

oh and one more is (more boutique one) sansamp gt-2 -!

  • @andyjett

I know about the boss HM-2, I'm from Sweden myself so it's kinda typical for me+death metal hahaha.

I'm using a Line 6 Spider IV 75W amp right now but I'm planning (when I get money) to get a Marshall Valvestate 8100.

So good pedals would be niffty!

  • me encantooo!!

  • sounds like shit get yourself a blackstar distex and get some valvey goodness in ye

  • who's the best uber metal or metal muff?

  • @Agocoi uber metal

  • @Agocoi Metal Muff!

  • it could help if he actually knew some metal

  • what is the music?

  • you you can do harmonics, dive bombs and stuff on this? i can do it but if i try on this pedal, will it sound amazing? or good?

  • Really good but i preffer metal muff ;)

  • this pedal is great. Better than metal zone and metal muff i can tell you and its noise gate is awesome

  • I hear you perform the theme to Doom as well.

  • @joelrain, When you want to play something heavy and you want a strong sound you can buy a distortion pedal to boost your tone and sound much heavier, normally your better off just using the normal gain channel on an amp but unless your using a decent sized and quality model it can sound a little weak. You also get more control of the levels of your distortion like high gain, low gain, mid and other types. Although it normally depends what type of distortion pedal your looking at to be honest.

  • Can someone please tell me why i would want to buy a distortion pedal?

  • Someones into some 'Tallica lol

  • сам ты песок!

а что тебе в метале долнжо быть? старый добрый мягкий дисторшн?

  • @HeadBanger1411

Ну, хороший гейн может быть и бес "песка"...

  • what amp are you using? just wanna know if this would sound good on a tube amp

  • Песок!

  • ur pedal has some modification? mi ubermetal sounds like shit why? :c

  • @jmartincg

Are you setting your mids and scoops right? Different guitars have different sweet spots for that good mid-range scoop. For example: for my stratocaster with a humbucker pickup, I usually have the mids past 12'00 and adjust the scoop accordingly.

  • @jmartincg it mighty be because of your guitar..ou your amp

  • @jmartincg or you dont know how to tweek it

  • great playing and great tone!
