  • i don't understand, why not use a connector, less fucking around ?

  • a connector takes seconds to attatch

  • I got the Crows Foot part...very helpful, but I couldn't see half what you were doing with the monofilament line, it was light coloured line against the background of your light coloured T shirt., making it almost invisible.

How about using red line against a white background ?

  • Very well presented and clear to understand...

  • Just use carp connectors !!!!

  • @hydro95 - No, you have to pay and crows foots do the same job.I prefer crows foots for bigger fish

  • nice one steve.this will help alot of people.well done mate

  • thanks steve this really helped me thanks

  • duz ur line not cut through the elastic ?

  • so do u need other bit for elastic is it the same as tying a not and not letting rig pull through.

  • You have a large loop at the end, say about 8cm long. At the very end of this large loop is a smaller loop of only 1 or 2 cm.

The smaller loop is used to get the line off the elastic after using.

To attach the line to the elastic, you need to pass a loop of line through the large loop and push the elastic inside this loop to trap it. Now pull the line tight and it should lock onto the elastic.

  • i dont get the bit with tying the two loops on the rig line and attaching it to the crows foot. Can you send me a message or something to explain it better please?

    thanks

  • Nice one Steve.......handy bit of info
