theirs one on creigslist here for $300 and it has the snow plow the rear dirt plow and tire chains for sale and if it isn't gone this week it goes to the scrapper :( hope i get it
You’re in! Nice tractor. Take good care of her and she’ll take good care of you. Those wheel weights are very desirable. Worth north of a hundred alone. :-)
@Chooman69 Sweet, I'm in lol! I started cleaning it up today, mice had been under the engine shroud. Didn't put any gas in it because it needs fuel pump work and a carb clean, but I did manage to get it running on a bit of carb cleaner down the throat and ran a belt around it to my big wisconsin engine. amazingly it has spark with a chewed up plug wire, i may put a newer magneto on it if I can find one because this ones been chewed up by the damn mice.
WOW ! ! ! ! what a score, all the manuels and the sales tages??? hey what did that sell for back in the day?what a great resto project..............you know chooman is going to try and buy that off you do you???? lol
@Needmorehorsepower Yeah, I sure lucked out on this one. The guy who sold me the wheel horse offered me this, but I didn't expect it to come with all of this, a great surprise there. The tags actually didn't have a price on them, they were more just retail tags with features and overviews. A great restoration project for me, I don't think chooman is gonna get me to sell this one lol!
@motox458 man once you get it all done those tags and manuels will just complete the whole resto i would get 1 of those binry plows as you have the manel and i think you would have a whole complete set.what a great deal, dont let chooman know where you live :) ha ha ha ha
@Needmorehorsepower yeah, this is definitely going to be a restoration that I want to look nice, lots of time and effort will go into this one. I may pick up some more attachments for it if I see any. I don't think I'll be telling chooman where I live lol (just messing with you chooman haha)
@1944johndeerel yeah, I generally don't like sears products, but these are tough tractors, back when things were built well. One day I'll find an old deere in need of some TLC to bring home
@captainmcduche haha lucky you! My job is a killer this time of year, too freakin' hot and too busy, I lived up north for a short period and my goal is to move back there in a year or so... hopefully
What a score eh? You should be able to score a starter/generator and belt pulley on ebay. All those implements, wow. I had to drag in a mowing deck and front blade from 2 different places. Thanks for shootin' a vid.
@TheSaturnV Thanks, it was a great score. I'll have to start looking around for a starter/generator and a pulley so I can get that thing running. And eventually I'll restore this one. Keep us updated on your restoration too :)
