F-22 is a beast and hit supersonic w/o its afterburners, during the test the plane that follows had to use its afterburners just to keep up.top speed is still classified though. though i know it can hit mach 2+. unbeatable plane, the only time this plane has crashed during operation was on human error the pilot screwed up and was losing consious <--i know....... anyway, had to eject but he died do to blunt force trama, he ejeced at to fast a speed and the wind did the rest....RIP...
