He's not my favourite UKTV chap, but he's OK & I think he was genuinely interested & liked her, but he can't stop with the jokes.

In the bit you mention, he was inarticulate (stumbling, etc) but the essence of what he said was OK - "listening to your music over the years, there's a child-like purity or even beauty to what you do"

I'd agree & not too bad a sentiment.
