This is dubbed pretty baddly. JR wasn't even an announcer in the WWF until Wrestle mania 9; at least a year after this match would have taken place. By that time Hart was the WWF Champion, Flair was gone, Savage was color commentating more than wrestling and Mr. Perfect was wrestling again.

Hmm JR announced that Bret had been the WWF Championship prior to this match yet his first WWF Title win came in the fall of 1992 after losing the Intercontinental Championship at SummerSlam '92. Either JR made a slip up or the commentators were dubbed over the match and this match was released to video after Bret won the WWF Championship.

jim ross said something in error, at 2;28 ,bret hart wasnt the wwf champion until he defeated flair for the belt and that wasnt until months later after this match so this had to be a overdubb of him and brain commentating, i bet they over dubbed this in 93

@chadcinco1 Bret dropped the IC title to Davey Boy Smith at Summerslam 1992, which is after Wrestlemania 8 where he beat Piper. Less than 3 months later he beat Ric Flair to become WWF Champion - the rest is history - Bret became the face of the WWF till he got screwed in 1997..

I really hate how they removed the original commentary and edited in Jim Ross voice! hey change it to somehow discredit and trivialize the achievements and ability of Savage&Hart!

The Commentary for this match was made very late.. JR didnt make his debut until Wrestlemania IX; and he mentions that Bret has held the WWF Championship but Bret and Savage both came into this match with the IC  & WWF Titles (respectively)..

Exactly. Bret Hart would go on to win the title later that year in October, after Bret lost the I-C title at SummerSlam to the British Bulldog and Savage lost the world title to Flair a few days later. Then Bret beat Flair for the world title and never held the I-C again.
