  • great i saw della reese in 1958 appearing on the robert q. lewis show (radio) a live entertainment show i was 13 and that was my first experience being in a radio audience at cbs radio studio building. the arthur godfrey audience studio in manhattan. i never forgot that experience. it was like being in heaven. live orchestra, singers, etc. that was when usa radio was great but in trouble caused by tv. ROGHARM do't you know i love della and this posting. she was on disney ROGHARM raven

  • Lucky you, rogharm!

  • why dont we have singers these days, like in those days. rap heavy metal. ect will be long gone. 100 years from tonight these type of songs will be still playing. someplace. this good music makes me think of -john wayne frank sinatra, dean martin, lee marvin, the ames bros, what singers and what actors.if i go to heaven, i am goin to ask god to meet these people. its music like this that keeps me wanting to live.

  • Factoid: The melody for Della's song was taken from Puccini's opera "La Boheme" (the aria Musetta's Waltz).

  • One of my all-time favorites.......since I was in grade school........."......can't you see I'm under your spell........don't you know?"
