I remember when this aired. I didn't know kd lang at all because I wasn't a big country fan (which is what she was mostly doing then). She literally brought down the house. She is just one of those great rare singers that has an incredibly powerful voice but sings with such musicality and control. And her breath control is freaking amazing. There are times where I wonder if she's actually doing some kind of circular breathing.

It's almost unfair for one person to have this much talent! Her performances give me goosebumps every time (and more than once!) And even with the talent she has, she remains humble and gracious. Truly a Canadian gem.

I have been trying to learn the words for this song (not that I could come even close to KDs voice) but every time I try to sing it, I burst into tears(I think its a combination of my terrible voice, and the emotion she puts into it..Especially towards the end
