Why would the continents drift up? The reason for pangea was a massive collision with something. This created a hold (the pacific oceans) and pushed all the land up onto one side of the planet. Now, through centrifugal forces, those high lands are slipping down into the hole. I see Asia moving east and America slipping more west until the planet equalises itself.
