your adding in the stick hitting sound with your left..and doing the one handed roll with your right ..is a lot different then a roll with both hands..the dynamics of the stick hitting sound with the roll
bingo. the head sound is more uniform between strokes because the same stick is hitting it over and over, and at the same time the 1 of the 3 pattern is accented by the sticks clicking together.
yah there are better demos

Well, you simply lost the hole point with it being a single handed roll. Seems kinda useless to me.

@henkepenk93 Read the description: "Yes, you use both hands, but there is still only one stick contacting the head."

its a fun trick, not meant to be practical.

Because I can already do rolls the normal way(s).

Doesn't that trips add-on defeat the purpose of a single-handed roll?

its kinda like most flashy drum stuff. cool, but not really practical.
although, normal single-hand rolls do have applications...
i occasionally toss this variation in front of a breakbeat or drum n bass rhythm cause i got it sounding more consistent and slightly mechanical.

You can do that, with just the one hand.... Worked it out today ^^ I will post a video soon.... peace out, and nice work..

yeah, i know it's possible with one hand. this is a 2 hand variation.
