You dont understand electronics. Useless video. Half the connections you make are pointless. Ill make a video that explains things without the fucking gay ass music!
@TheTubejunky what would work better? a silicon micro chip board with soldier. i make things that are permanent, not for testing curcuits. im not saying they aren't good for beginners or for school however
@alellanos454 the same scheme only add another led parallel to the first one and an inverter before it. Type 'transistor inverter' in google and press the first link. If you want them both blinking for exactly the same amount of time, for 1 sec., add a diode between pin 6 and 7. Type in google doctronics NE555'(first link) and look for '4.1. Extended duty cycle astable'. if you still don't know how to do it, write me.
Changing the cap and resistors give a mix of results. I got an old radio shack eletronic science kit with different resistors and capacitors. It makes it easy to try different things. I got it on line for like 5 bucks.
is 4.7 Yellow, Purple, Red? or Y,P,Orange?

I used some different risistors and all I got is a sold dim LED. WTF? I just created the most complicated LED on Earth! HELP!

I would think it's a 100 microfarad capacitor but I'm not sure.

What kind of capacitor? I want to build this but I'm not sure what type of capacitor to buy.

This was awesome I'm going to build it

do you have one where I can handle a electronic switch (forgot the name)..and if a put variable resistir instead of the resistor can it manage time?
I need to close a circuit every time the pulse is up. and release when down. do you have a schamtic for this?
lbcu 3 months ago
@lbcu You can run the circuit is monostable mode which will complete one cycle when you press a switch then stop.

@DarthMufin - I submit, I am not dorky enough to compete with you. Of course you do have a star wars refrence for your name, so.....that's original.

@livetroutprod didnt say i was competing im saying breadboards are stupid. not your video

If not a breadboard what would work better?
paper and conductive ink?

Interesting choice of music... You don't seem that native. Nice breadboarding.

what if i use 10 uF capacatur instead of 100 uF ? will it just blink faster? will it work?

Which side of the capacitor do we attach to which pin? The anode goes where and the cathode goes on what pin?
Nadrealis 1 year ago 4
@Nadrealis Anode to pin 2 and 6 which are common to each other and cathode to ground.
Alex1M6 3 months ago
@Alex1M6 Lmfao, 1 year later. Thanks though, way past this point in my academia :P.

@Nadrealis lol I must have missed that! I guess it can help out other people who want to know the same thing though ( :
Alex1M6 3 months ago
@Nadrealis Look at the schematic for the 100uF cap!
Electrikid221MnM 1 month ago
@Nadrealis Cathode (-) goes to pin 1 (ground) and anode (+) goes to pin 2

I haven't used SMD, but I think it's pretty transferable.
