I'm a Catholc. My best friend is Wiccan. I'm so, so glad that she and I can coexist together. In fact, we help each other grow in our separate faiths, I find Wicca and all pagan religions to be fascinating, and see no reason to try and convert or stomp paganism out.
I only wish that statements like mine could be more repeated.

Why can’t multiple schools of faith and beliefs coexist, literally? I mean they are all correct in certain things. How is it that only they & they alone can be right & all others are wrong? The thing is, we’ll never truly know until we meet the end of this human life; and even then no one knows really, eerrrr by having hard proof & not just faith (which I AM NOT discounting. We choose our own paths and beliefs and no one does have the right to gnash their teeth at them.

Their minds and hearts have blinders, so they can only see in one small direction - whether that be THEIR GOD, or THEIR politics. And find cant see or understand anything outside that frame of sight. Ok, I have noticed a plethora of comments on many Wiccan /pagan songs That refer to others negatively. As I was taught the wiccan branch of the pagan faith is a very accepting one. I find myself wondering why those with so much hate even bother listening to peaceful music for.

@KayGardner1994 I think Paganism is the right path for me. I feel so upset being Christian and only pagan religions have attracted me. I've always been fascinated by magick and myths. I find the Greek myths most interesting... maybe my deities will be Greek.
Follow what you want dear :) When i was christian, i was interested in the greek myths and looks at me now :P But my gods arn't greek :P Don't be upset about being attracted to Paganism. I made that mistake and it made me feel really low and now i embrace my witchiness. And i've never looked back.

@Happymystery12 Believe only what you believe in. I know that sounds redundant, but it's harder to do than it sounds. Anything that makes you uncomfortable, unhappy, or nervous isn't right for you. Belief is only belief when you can fully believe. You should do some soul searching; maybe make a list of your basic beliefs, then do research on different religions and add to your list if you find a new (or are reminded of an old) belief. I practice the tarot, runes, brews and spells/charms. I just wish there were more Christians out there that would understand and learn instead of judge and humiliate. They are the ones charging their own negativity.

This is so pretty! I am wiccan and have had some interesting experiences( I am seventeen, I once tread the path of wicca then lost interests but I am back and here to stay) I have to say hearing this puts me in a state of complete calm . I am proud to be wiccan. I just wish my best friend's parents understood and did not judge me so horribly for it

I find it so interesting how as a species we are exposed to the wonders of nature and the forces the posses. There is no denying the power of a thunderstorm, the beauty of a sunrise, or the stillness of a snowfall. But how many wonders are lost on us. All children can see these wonders, but very few adults.

why do other religions look at this religion as worshiping the devil.i have been shown this religion at age 10 and im 14 now and got told that everything i believe in is bad and wrong but i don't know why someone would say that when we show such respect?
@DarkSnP You know, their "devil" is just Cernunnos, the celtic horned god. They gave him a bad reputation as a way of control and scaring people away from the path.
To those comments on Christmas- "Christmas" is actually a slurring of "Christ's Mass" and it celebrates his birth. But Jesus was born in the spring! "Christmas" is really a pagan holiday! It's the Winter Solstice. The Christians hid their holiday in the pagan holiday because of the persecution way back then.
My mother is Pagan and my father is an Athiest. Every time I hear my father hate on creationism it makes me trust my mother. My mother is one of the most accepting people I've met.
@rusman74x I agree with you there. I have never felt better in my life. I always knew there was something not right about mormonism so i tried to be catholic. Didnt fill the empty hole. I found wicca and the problem was solved. Just so everybody knows i have nothing against other religions. I dont want anyone to think im bashing them.

Well actully Spiritual Satanists do believe in Satan, LaVeyan Satanists believe that they rule their on life and so 'Are their own gods' but they don't think they are 'God' And i think some just see him as a symbol and don't believe in anything. And i think some see him just as a demon not a god. I may be wrong though :P That is just what i have read. :)

It seems that every time I try to find a nice song about Wicca, I find a fight between monotheists and pagans. There are many paths to the divine and people choose what works best for them and people that hate others are going against their own religions in the process no matter which they've chosen. Instead of fighting each other, why not look in the mirror and fix what's wrong there by ridding yourselves of hate and learning to love?

Perhaps I should let myself stray away from Christianity. Christian songs make me kind of unhappy but this song gives me hope for the future!

@KayGardner1994 I think Paganism is the right path for me. I feel so upset being Christian and only pagan religions have attracted me. I've always been fascinated by magick and myths. I find the Greek myths most interesting... maybe my deities will be Greek.

Follow what you want dear :) When i was christian, i was interested in the greek myths and looks at me now :P But my gods arn't greek :P Don't be upset about being attracted to Paganism. I made that mistake and it made me feel really low and now i embrace my witchiness. And i've never looked back.

@Happymystery12 Believe only what you believe in. I know that sounds redundant, but it's harder to do than it sounds. Anything that makes you uncomfortable, unhappy, or nervous isn't right for you. Belief is only belief when you can fully believe. You should do some soul searching; maybe make a list of your basic beliefs, then do research on different religions and add to your list if you find a new (or are reminded of an old) belief. I am a DEVOUT EPISCOPALIAN and I find that any religion that teaches the search for truth while promoting love, peace, untiy, and love for nature is good and holy. "GOD" is in everything and regardless if we call "IT" Mother or Father "IT" is still the beginning and end....PEACE, LOVE, AND BLESSINGS

I like to call myself an Enhanced Catholic. I am very open to all other aspects of religions and apply that to my own phylosophy. I am very fond and respectful for all the Wiccans out there and others who understand how all of Earth's elements are sacred and should be respected. I practice the tarot, runes, brews and spells/charms. I just wish there were more Christians out there that would understand and learn instead of judge and humiliate. They are the ones charging their own negativity.

This is so pretty! I am wiccan and have had some interesting experiences( I am seventeen, I once tread the path of wicca then lost interests but I am back and here to stay) I have to say hearing this puts me in a state of complete calm . I am proud to be wiccan. I just wish my best friend's parents understood and did not judge me so horribly for it

I find it so interesting how as a species we are exposed to the wonders of nature and the forces the posses. There is no denying the power of a thunderstorm, the beauty of a sunrise, or the stillness of a snowfall. But how many wonders are lost on us. All children can see these wonders, but very few adults.
Magic and the Old Ways are all around us, and only a few find them once more. I guess in that sense, children are the true worshippers of our Lord and Lady. )O(

To those comments on Christmas- "Christmas" is actually a slurring of "Christ's Mass" and it celebrates his birth. But Jesus was born in the spring! "Christmas" is really a pagan holiday! It's the Winter Solstice. The Christians hid their holiday in the pagan holiday because of the persecution way back then.

@rusman74x I agree with you there. I have never felt better in my life. I always knew there was something not right about mormonism so i tried to be catholic. Didnt fill the empty hole. I found wicca and the problem was solved. Just so everybody knows i have nothing against other religions. I dont want anyone to think im bashing them.

Well actully Spiritual Satanists do believe in Satan, LaVeyan Satanists believe that they rule their on life and so 'Are their own gods' but they don't think they are 'God' And i think some just see him as a symbol and don't believe in anything. And i think some see him just as a demon not a god. I may be wrong though :P That is just what i have read. :)

The Goddess Isis, whom calls her so, guides and guards her... my mother was wiccan but was so badly acussed of bad events, that she moved from her home of 4 generations, and went across the country. she would understand me, but she worries i will end up hurt. blessed be all, even those whom hurt us so, for our Goddess is a gracious one!! merry we meet again! )O(

I agree I live in the bible belt and trust me if you don't follow their belief then there is issues including loss of a job, although you would never know that was the true reason. One question: If going to church makes you christian does going into a garage make you a car? Everyone's path to their truth is thier own

It seems that every time I try to find a nice song about Wicca, I find a fight between monotheists and pagans. There are many paths to the divine and people choose what works best for them and people that hate others are going against their own religions in the process no matter which they've chosen. Instead of fighting each other, why not look in the mirror and fix what's wrong there by ridding yourselves of hate and learning to love?

I think I've written on this song before...but I have to again. This song moves me sooo much and it makes me so proud to be Pagan. I finally got my hands on this song and I am beyond happy.
