I've heard Adelaide is a beautiful city. How were the temps there this time of year? Love the old Victorian and Georgian buildings. Australian cities are so beautiful. I wish I was there. :)
It looks like a pretty city, the weather was seemde to be the only problem on the first day at the gathering. Some of the balconies reminded me of New Orleans. Would you mind living there?
Thanks for the guided tour, William. It certainly has some handsome buildings. 'Sikosm' Stas attends that uni, but he's off in Europe on holiday with his folks. Well, when he gets there. I think so far he's done Singapore and is lost somewhere on a camel in Tunisia!
So. William. The boy who does not return my phone calls. You finally got to see a black swan! Bloody marvelous! It is quite in Adelaide on Sundays. You are supposed to stay home and read the Bible or something. Sunday shopping in the city I guess doesn't look busy. But it is the festival state and I have fond memories of performing in the Adelaide Fringe Festival in the mid 1990s. I had my artworks all over the place. I luved it.
I have always been a city boy. I love the countryside but always have much more of a soft spot for the city. There are many beautiful small Aussie towns but I find once you have been to a couple you have been to them all. They tend to look very similar. For me cities have a buzz and have so much colour and are vibrant. As I spent time living in Griffith I do have a soft spot for that place. Also I quite liked Port Macquarie and Byron Bay but my favourite places will always be the big cities :)
Very nice place. I did my Master there in University if South Australia.Miss You Adelaide!

I wish you were there too. Usually the weather is very hot and dry in the summer though that weekend it rained a lot. It is a beautiful city :)

William, I'm going to get you thinking, if I may.
Where is your favourite place in Australia that you have visited so far?
sherbetgirl 2 years ago
Such a good question and so hard for me to answer. I suppose Sydney is home but Adelaide would definitely be high up. I enjoy Melbourne too :)
kensington25 2 years ago
No little quaint little town off the beaten track that you would recommend?
Or somewhere not obvious like the big cities?
