sylvie, part of her difficulty with jumps is because she, at 5'9 is considerably taller than most women skaters. also, she holds the world record for most continuous (115) spins on 1 foot. she's very gifted, and not a souless robot, like aot of the current crop of skaters, who care more about jumps and points than art.

'The queen"? hardly, she was a spinning expert but that was it, she wasn't a very good skater.

@sylviepete I guess the sport has evolved into how many tripple willies you can do in a row. Pretty soon to win you'll have to jump the grand canyon to win. Lots of skaters can jump. Nobody can spin like her!
