@RonJLow fortunately, their is development of techniques to restore foreskin.. Although, this is not exactly like not hveing it amputated to begin with, it may offer some protection to the glans. Perhaps in the furture people will read about the barbaric times when people actually amputed parts of their body for religous blood rituals and think how primitive the society was then..
