just saw this... btw the word is alu MIN EEEE UM check it out in your description. Its the old spelling of aluminum.... they say it like that in GB i think and pre 1900's
You're right, if I was going to say them like they were written then I probably would have pronounced it that way or "alu min yum". I guess I didn't pay attention to the spelling the way people tend to do when they see 2 similar looking words.
I think I say "the" as "thee" most of the time, sometimes "thuh", but usually in front of a word that begins with a vowel. I think I'm over-analyzing it, lol.
<_< I'm not bitter or anything, but everyone has apparently missed my video. Eric got it from me, and I got it from MichaelMidnight, who got it from the original poster.
"The" changes from sentence to sentence for me. "Thuh" and "thee" are applicable in different sentence situations.
I'd seen your video but when I made this I hadn't payed attention to whether Eric responded to you or vice versa. So as I was making the annotations I noticed that you pointed people in the right direction, hence the annotation.

after I made this I over-analyzed how infrequent I am with some of the words on the list. silly English language and accents.

I think I say the and thee. In the north of England they say 'tuht' for 'the' and 'to' and 'to the'. For example:
"I'm going tuht shop tuht buy tuht Lion tuht Witch and tuht Wardobe on dvd"

oi that sounds like it would be annoying, but maybe I'd have to hear it.
