H2Ocean is to clean your ears, not keep them moisturized. You should always rinse your ears off with fresh water after salt soaks to keep the salt from drying out your skin.
I hope nobody follows the advice you give in this video because their ears will not have a long and happy life.

@ModxMovement repeating that shampoo is fine for healed lobes doesn't make it true. There are chemicals used in shampoos and fragrances that are not good for your earlobes. Same with a lot of hand soaps. Only certain handsoaps are really safe to use on piercings and stretched lobes.
and by your lobes are thin, I don't mean the wearable area of your plugs. I'm not talking about how wide your plugs have to be to fit. (thats the blow out I was referring to) I would advise you to do some research

Don't stretch with a taper, tapers suck and the chance you might get a blowout are MUCH larger...
And if you still do it, you don't leave the taper in at all... You're at a big enough size for the taper to be quite heavy, so if you leave it in, it will dangle about and cause an even stretch...

i have stretched with silicone before when i was younger. but like many things i did wen i was 14, it was a huge mistake. stretching with silicone is very bad.
i just stretched from a 0 to 00 with silicone and nothing happened i took it out 2 days later and cleaned them and my ears were fine but i'm probably not going to do it anymore
wait until you reached a larger size, IMO. I didnt start using flares until 5/8ths. tapers are a very to hurt ears with from over-ambitious stretches. At this stage when i put in a new flared jewlery, I still get soreness. if your piercing is very well centered on your lobes, you should never experience a very bad blowout. make sure to try to stretch from the back of your ear to combat the force that goes into stretching them from the front. Oil is great, make sure your ears are clean before =)
i have 8g tapers too, and i wear them as jewellery, even though im not suppost to. i personally dont think its a bad idea to wear them everyday. the back of the lobe also appears smaller than the front with me, but its not, it just looks smaller due to the angle of which you look at it. so dont worry it is normal (:
you should always take your jewelry out durring a shower and(at larger sizes) atleast an hour a day to promote good blood circulation, also you shouldnt use emu oil, its literly made from emu and thats not nice, massage your ears 1-2 times a day with either Vitamin E oil or Jojobba oil to keep them healthy, and it doesnt matter if your male or female, keep them clean and dont rush them
emu oil works wonders. way better than vitamin E. but see. vegans and stuff dont like it but im not vegan so. doesnt apply to me. lol. but if u dont wanna use it thats cool.

Beanies are really good for big stretched earlobes. Especially Columbia beanies,which you can probably get at any sporting store during the cold seasons.

Emu oil is absolutely fantastic. It's great for creating good blood flow in your stretched ears. Pop your plugs out and rub your ears with some. They will get nice and hot, and it's great for thickening!

yes people.. use antibacterial soap like dial soap on any and every piercing you have! you want to get rid of all bacteria.. he is right about not using alcohol and all that jazz. i would say only use antibacterial soap and if you'd like to use some kind of lotion i'd say just make sure it is unscented.. it can really piss off your skin. p.s. i think everyone should wear ear muffs.. even if they dont have streched ears lol, good vid dude

Your lobe on the left side of the video is really thin. the other side looks like it could be blown out.
Shampoo has all kinds of chemicals that you don't want to rub into your ears.
Emu oil is rendered from the fat of the Emu when they butcher them for food. They have incredible immune systems which is why Emu oil works so well.
Baby oil/lotion is not ok. Fragrance + chemicals

how long do I leave a taper in when i'm stretching out my ear?
I'm just stretching it from 3/4 to 7/8th.
Right now i've had the taper in for 3 days because of the fact that it hurts still, so I dont know if I should just put the plug in or wait.

firstly man, it should never really hurt.
it may be tight, but it should never hurt.
take the taper out and downsize either back to where it was or a size below to try and fix the damage you are doing.

just to add to what youve said;
you should always take your jewelry out durring a shower and(at larger sizes) atleast an hour a day to promote good blood circulation, also you shouldnt use emu oil, its literly made from emu and thats not nice, massage your ears 1-2 times a day with either Vitamin E oil or Jojobba oil to keep them healthy, and it doesnt matter if your male or female, keep them clean and dont rush them

i had ear cheese the first time i tried stretching like 3 years ago (i stopped to heal and start all over), cause i think i had a small infection too, so i thought the ear cheese was related to the infection. maybe it was, but i thought it was like dried puss. ..yum. lol.

i just put 2s in, tapers, and i waited 3 months before. i used baby oil lotion, the day after they were bleeding, i cleaned them out every day and used neosporin on them, now the cuts are healed but theres puss and ear cheese building up on them ALOT. like it spreads over the o rings and and spreads up towards the hole of my ear. are they infected pr what?

no. just remember. wen you clean out ur ears, your bothering them. its not bad. you should DEFINATLY clean out ur lobes. but its like. they get red cuz u rub em. move em around. sqeeze em a bit. they just get pissed off. it happens. i treat my lobes like another person. be good to them and they will be good to you.

Emu oil is absolutely fantastic. It's great for creating good blood flow in your stretched ears. Pop your plugs out and rub your ears with some. They will get nice and hot, and it's great for thickening!

yes people.. use antibacterial soap like dial soap on any and every piercing you have! you want to get rid of all bacteria.. he is right about not using alcohol and all that jazz. i would say only use antibacterial soap and if you'd like to use some kind of lotion i'd say just make sure it is unscented.. it can really piss off your skin. p.s. i think everyone should wear ear muffs.. even if they dont have streched ears lol, good vid dude
