  • I'd prefer the engine sound to a loud music.

  • Very good. You can read my comparison of the CBF to the BMW R1200RT on the CBF Forum: cbf1000.com/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=60&topic=4209.msg47681#msg47681

  • Is this a good bike for long distance and does it pull well? My Dad travels 40 miles each day to work and wants a quick bike but comfortable to ride!

  • straight bombin that hill

  • The Okanagan is an amazing place to ride. Love the video. I am thinking of getting a CBF1000 myself.

  • @fleeteyes You can buy mine. Replaced the fuel pump at 23,000km - $760, now at 25,000kms my stator just went - $550. I absolutely love the bike, it's like Honda built it for me, but it's also been the most expensive to maintain and least reliable of ANY bike I have ever owned.

  • @bandjross

Thats a real shame you have had those Issues, mine has been brilliant, worst issue was a bolt falling out from a mechanic clutzing the 1000km service. you on the cbf1000 forums?

  • @G200Sleepr Footpeg mounting bolt? I had one fall out as well. Yes I'm om CBF1000.com

  • I wish that bike was available in the USA - very nice!

  • Yes, but where is your daily ride?

    Southern California, near Mexico?

  • South Okanagan, BC

  • @bandjross I figured your scenery looked like B.C. I am in Alberta and have been that way a few times. I got myself a steal of a deal on a 2009 CBF with only 200kms and comes with Givi luggage rack and large trunk. Can't wait to put the miles on it soon. Love your Video with Evanescence. One of my Fav. Singers. Made over 50 motorcycle video myself in the last 4 years.

  • @jandjjobst Congrats on your CBF. We moved from AB 3 years ago, one of the big reasons was for the roads. :-)

  • Mate - I wish my ride to work was as quiet and scenic as yours! Riding in the South of the UK (Bristol) is a much less mellow experience, lol. Great video btw :)

  • Very nice, great bike! Where is the camera mounted, is that the side of your helmet I'm seeing? It's like the bike is moving independently of the camera.

  • Yes, it's mounted to the side of my helmet, a VIO POV camera
