He reminds me of our quaker, Peeka. Love the bathtime part. Peeka also does that head bobbing thing when he's eating something and he makes that really loud sound when he's excited or wants you to back off.

i have only one quaker and two other birds that dont get along with anyone! and she is content being alone but she will try to get your attention and hogg your time, but its so worth it my quaker is a pain in the butt , but shes also alot of fun, ive become the bird lady ;p

I have heard that if you have two quakers they will be less social, and play more with each other. I'm not sure though, ever way i'm sure they'll be happy.

Looks like your blue buddy is also a builder. I suggest offering him some straws or Popsicle sticks to try to build with. Builders will know what to do with them if they want to build. And it looks like the perfect cage to build in.

Yes. And Quakers are nesting birds so they pick at stuff like that all the time. It's not expensive, but corn cob is a much safer product to use.

Actually, it's the other way around. Generally, as long as the newspaper does not have colored ink on it (black & white newspaper is fine), then you can go ahead and use it. 

But corn cob on the other hand, is a harbinger of bacteria and mold (once it becomes moist or wet).

i used to have to do that too but now he flies to the sink whenever he wants a bath. Then all i have to do is put a bowl there and turn the water on and he'll jump right in

So I just leave it up to him.

Hi I also own a blue quaker.

1-dirty coins are better than clean ones, the dirt covers the surface of the metal, and blue here is only tossing the coins, he isn't licking or eating them. Also how dare you hide the one he is after ;D 2-my boy loves OJ too! 3-any lid, any surface means quaker hockey! 4- big mouth? nah, just letting you know this is MINE! 5- of course, he is a genious 6- no, as I said, they are MINE! 7- loose the bowl, I need the sink. 8- Listen to my wisdom! 9- Mine. 10- Yum!

and yeah, it's true, birds shouldn't be allowed to play with change because it's too dirty. maybe if you washed a bunch of nickels and dimes he could play with those? and about the orange juice, it's ok to give them FRESH fruit, like grapes and stuff sometimes, but orange juice like that is too acidic for their itty bitty tummies. :p

Not trying to sound rude but I would not let him touch those pennies as they look pretty old and rusty so that could make your bird very sick maybe even killing it, plus money is dirty from so many people touching it through the years. Orange juice is another bad thing for your parrot if you give it too much because it contains allot of acid.

Blues really are NOT that rare, yo can pick one up hand fed for around $400.00. I breed both the greens, blues, blue split cinnamon, and the blue ice and all are under $600.00 each, so a blue is not rare anymore at all.
