Yes, Sihan was 9 years old when this video was made. She had to submit her birth date in order to be eligible for entrance into the competition for this specific class and division.

Its amazing how old these 9 year olds look but extremely rare to see a 9 year old having that type of control over her fingers.

her interpretation of the chopin is a little soft. i think i sounds a lot better fast and exciting with a much larger variation of dynamics
