@NowThePeople I'm not sure if this particular place is in Canada (Not all of Canada is covered in snow like this), but it's legal to kill adult seals ._.

But I'm pretty sure the killing of baby harp seals is illegal. And yes, they do it for the fur. Which is 100% stupidity. Harp seals are one of my favorite animals <3 They are so cute.

With new tech creating synthetic textiles, there is no excuse for people to hunt for any animal fur. But I love this video. The mother and baby connecting and bonding is touching. Toward the video's end, the baby seal dozing off for a little nap was really heart warming. Nicely done video :)

Imagine if someone went into a kindergarten and skinned all the children alive. The mothers protect their babies and even kiss them on the nose as seen in this video. All seals are evolved from land mammals. Dogs, seals and humans have the same ancestors.
