I love love this song, it was inspired by a story of Bono's friend from his school years but it is generally about the two sides of humanity, the intellect and its amazing feats and love and its own reasoning, their mysterious inseparability this particular performance always gave me goosebumps and I recently learned that at the time the Edge's family was fighting with his youngest daughter's cancer and that was U2 boys everyday prayer for that miracle drug of medicine and their love
