I also hated this room but, in a way, i enjoy it, i was more like DIE BICHES!!....But then my amazing shooting range was stopped by Ashley, she got killed ¬¬!

A better tactic. As soon as you enter the water room, run straight to the room with the two platform switches and camp. Much easier, but still. It is a hectic part of the game.

Actually, the first part isn't that bad. All you have to do is choose a corner (in the main room) and start blasting with your shotgun and rifle.

probably the hardest part of the game next to chapter 5, i actually managed to beat this room on my first try, heres a tip: just stay in the room with the switches and wait till they come to you.

thats what i did. and another tip always aim either at the knees or the feet. then you can kick them and save ammo as the kick also affects the nearby enemies

I hate this part too. The constant ambushing, extremely disfavorable environments, overwhelming quantities of enemies and still having to keep them away from Ashley, whose AI makes Persona 3's party members' AI seem BRILLIANT... And also the music. It's creepy and sets the atmosphere, but it gets annoying after a while...

get the broken butterfly and blow his brains out first...then take the riot gun and let them get close then blow the guys with the shields in the head(even with the shield they die in 2 shots) then just shoot the guys trying to take ashley and all u have to do is shoot them in the legs...only 1 time... its gets waaaaay easier if u beat the game cuz u got bomb weapons

Its probably because you have the ps2 version, On the ps2 version. Ony 1 guy comes from each door, but on the gamecube, 2 guys come out each door, which makes the gamecube version harder, But gives you more ammo than the ps2 version.
